Was "smartness" a priority for Australian bachelors Matt and Locky?

Australian TV series "The Bachelor Australia" is one of a kind. The electronic carpet features real life situations where 25 or more women openly compete for love on screen. The bachelor is usually an outrageous, posh, elite or say a successful hunk.

Heart-throb of the nation "Osher Günsberg," host of the "The Bachelor Australia" also has a profound effect on the audience, followers or fans of the said show. Interestingly, former Bachelor stars Matt Agnew and Locklan Gilbert took the show to a whole new level. The two very cleverly encountered and confronted uncomfortable situations taking place out of envy and enmity between the girls.

With so much of friction, sexual tension and bitterness, Matt and Locky were forced to no longer have any animosity towards them, and to only choose amongst them either one or none. For the most enduring ring ceremony to take place, astrophysicist Agnew ended up with chemical engineer Chelsie McLeod and Locky fell for resident nurse Irena Srbinovska.

The decision reflected picking out the "smartest one" was seemingly a priority. Winners of "The Bachelor Australia" Chelsie and Irena both came out quite strong, post-engagement.

Facebook page of the series showed the two "beauty with brains" happy with their male counterparts. Irena and Locky are planning for a bright future ahead. Matt and McLeod have decided to go their separate ways but still wish each other luck.

"Chels is a very special woman and I want her to find the happiness she deserves," says Dr.Matt Agnew in his Instagram post.
